Highlights from the Road: Day 9 to 15

Zimbabwe, you beauty, you.

Not a single roadblock. Quite a bit of sunblock. The awesome company of Bren and Ryan, Kush, Rakesh, Hetel, George, Cathy, Bob and a couple more. The invention of Gareth. The uplifting solitude of the Chimanimani Moutains. And getting a bit too close and personal with a slightly demented hippo.

These are my last two weeks in Zimbabwe.

Thanks Nicci! Ja, I’d been to Vic Falls a few times before but to none of these other places. Really unique and special.

I have to laugh at myself because there’s not always someone else there to do it ? And yes, it would be wonderful to have you along.

Miss you too!! I know Malawi/Kenya/Tanzania/Uganda isn’t exactly Planet Xancara, but maybe you should bring the boys up for a really wild weekend 🙂

Beaula! I was not there, yet climbed, got lost and found my way again with you and was reminded how important those yellow arrows ( and talking to myself ?) are.
